The Parent Teacher Committee exists to strengthen the connection between home and school. Together, we:

Build Community – Create a welcoming and supportive school environment.

Enhance Communication – Bridge parents, teachers, and administration.

Support Education – Provide resources and classroom help when needed.

Plan Events – Organize celebrations, fundraisers, and school gatherings.

Fundraise – Help bring in resources for field trips, materials, and improvements.

Advocate for Students – Partner with staff to enrich each child’s learning experience.

Encourage Involvement – Create opportunities for all parents to participate.

Roles

Filled Roles:
​
Adam Thewes, Chairperson/President – Leads meetings, sets agendas, communicates with administration.
Clara Olcott, Fundraising Lead – Develops fundraising opportunities.
Open Roles:
Vice Chair/Vice President – Supports the Chairperson and leads projects or subcommittees.
Secretary – Records meeting notes and keeps members informed.
Treasurer – Manages funds and provides financial updates.
Event Coordinator(s) – Plans and manages school events and fundraisers.
Volunteer Coordinator – Recruits and organizes parent helpers.
Communications Lead – Shares updates via newsletters, flyers, and social media.
Class Representatives – Act as liaisons between classrooms and the PTC. (Discuss this position with your child's teacher)
